A week later.
Domain name is bought, hosting is identified to be bought, but I'll wait on that until the site is built.
Graphics and logo are decided on and are in process.
Website is started.
Amazon widgets added to blog.
Facebook page is set up, but not pushed out yet.
Slow, but steady progress.

This weekend I managed to complete a few things on the list.
The 'about' info is done, a logo is created and a few other assorted graphics for the website (yet to be created) are completed. A facebook page has been created but as yet doesn't have a lot of info in it.
It takes time to build a small empire.
No one is at yet reading this blog. This is good, it gives me time to keep working.

Stuff that needs doing
List of initial things to do for Papaver.
My main issue is having enough time to do all the things I need to do for Papaver and my writing projects, fit in family and friends life, fit in a house build finish and landscaping, and ensure my personal life is not neglected, but nurtured instead.
Not easy when you have a day job in the city and you live an hour away in the country.
This will be a slow process, but the blog is now started and everything else will follow.
*edit.
And painting... I also want to start painting again...
- Design and build a website
- Create 'about' info
- Design and create a logo
- Create facebook and twitter Papaver accounts
- Draft publication list

Papaver's Arrival
As I'm now moving into self-publishing I figured I should have a name for my company. A friend painted a picture of three poppies and it really caught my attention.
It inspired me to find my publishing name, Papaver.
Papaver has arrived, quietly and without much fuss.
But, as I have a hard time staying quiet for long, expect some noise soon.
